Debbie  Sanders

I graduated from ASU with a degree in elementary education.
I am a former Kindergarten and 2nd grade teacher. I have also taught tap, ballet, jazz, and gymnastics.  I now work part-time in the counselor's office helping Mrs. Dent.

My husband Gary graduated from SEMO with a degree in A.G. business.  He is a life long farmer in the Steele area.

This summer my son Trent married Sarah Jo Grissom from Caruthersville. They built a house on the farm where Trent and Gary have their farm shop. Sarah Jo works for the PCSSD in the Caruthersville elementary school.

      Our hobby is reining horses. We have 3 in our barn right now Buck, Richie, and Smarty. Richie and Smarty are in training to be reining horses, just like Buck. We love them all.  Gary shows in non-pro classes and usually wins. When Gary finishes showing, I get to ride Buck and cool him down.  I love doing that. We have met a lot of great people and enjoy parking our trailers close so we can eat together, visit, sing, and just have fun. One of my favorite parts of horse showing is Cowboy Church. We have some great services in jeans, hats, and sometimes even on horse back.
